  • Wood Pressed Oil (Chekku Oil):
    Extracted using a traditional wooden ghani (or chekku) where seeds are slowly crushed at low speed. The wooden pestle prevents heat generation and oxidation, keeping the oil pure and nutrient-rich.

  • Cold Pressed Oil:
    Extracted using a modern stainless-steel expeller at controlled temperatures (usually below 40–50°C). It’s also heat-free but uses mechanical equipment instead of wood.
